I don't like to recommend other brands but in Spain there are many interesting brands of affordable shoes ( Meermin is one of them of course).

But we want recommendations...

Tallsem
....

All of these brands Make good shoes.
The ones above are in order of quality the highest to the lowest.
VF has one of the best tassel loafer lasts in tr market.
Crownhill is Blake and you can see collection in their Instagram. 135€ shoe I believe. Many lasts, nicely shipped.

Tallsem has Blake construction and offers MTO at a very small surcharge (<90€ shoe)

I have only shoes from VF
Many friends are going for the tallsem due to price and personalisation

I have no links to any of the companies.

Many thanks, very interesting information! These manufactures in fact aren't commonly known round here, I'd assume.

Honestly VF is a non explored company with so much potential .
I had the stringloafers and they are great (not at carmina level in terms off suede).
I can show you the rois cordovan tassel loafers and will not believe they cost 140€
